"Employment for all, Income for all."
The Roots of Satyam Grama Sangham
Our journey began on June 3, 2009, when we were first registered as the Satyam Natures Village Society under the Kerala State Registration Department. By 2010, as our scope and ambitions expanded, we officially embraced the name Satyam Grama Sangham (SGS).
A Legacy of Empowerment & Livelihood
For over a decade, SGS has championed an integrated approach to community development across Kerala. We believe in the power of bringing people together. By forming and nurturing Self-Help Groups (SHGs), we have successfully bridged the gap between basic financial literacy and true micro-enterprise development.
A proud milestone in our journey is our flagship Jute Craft and Livelihood initiative. As the exclusive provider of Jute Board programs in Kerala and holding the prestigious Jute Mark certification, we have trained over 200 rural people—primarily women—in jute handicraft and bag manufacturing under the JRCPC program.
From driving these essential skill-building programs to establishing healthcare camps and organizing disaster relief, our history is defined by action.
